VY2CRA Repeater 146.715-

This page has been updated to reflect the changes to our repeater on 146.715 Mhz. 
That frequency was previously used by VE1UHF from Glen Valley.
Therefore the info below is to record only the Belfast repeater information.


2024-06-30
The temporary setup for Belfast (146.715) repeater, VY2CRA has been replaced with 
the final install of the Series-II T800 repeater gear at the FD repeater site. 
Thanks to Rick, VY2WTF we have the repeater in a box and a 210C2 antenna installed.
The small VHF dipole at the bottom is for the  APRS-WX station.

The experimental VY2CRA Belfast repeater was installed at the Belfast FD.
A single dipole for TX and UHF Yagi for the Uplink. 
So far the remote site is RX only but we are working on a better TX antenna and link.
We also are using the callsign VY2CRA for this new repeater.
Below is the TAIT 50w repeater with both VHF and UHF receivers.
